Many members have access to an Institutional Membership ($185) through their College or University.
An individual Membership ($30) can also be purchased by any individual living in Texas.

Once you (or your institution) are a member you can attend the Annual Conference ($170).

TASA Members have the opportunity to participate in the TASA One Square Foot exhibition.

The benefits of the conference include our traditional role of course alignment per the request of the Texas Coordinating Board of Higher Education and alignment with SACS accreditation. This year we are also providing a blend of international, national and local artistic talent in efforts to see how the regional both models and innovates in disparate areas of the arts.

Our keynote speaker, Terry Allen, has made a career of multiplicity and fringe otherness, which has become mainstream applicable. Our panel discussion "Off-Center" features two Whitney Biennial 2014 artists, a Chicago gallerist/artist, and two Dallas artists/curators as they approach the insider/outsider conflicts of achievement through non-standardized approaches. We also will discuss the daunting role of media with local Dallas publicists, journalists, and reporters in "what's new on the scene?"

The conference will function as an educational summit for the serious artist, engaging a variety of high level talent and the oft dubious role of education in the arts.
